    IMPress for IDX Broker

We recently added some fixes related to the compatibility issue where both Page Builder Sandwich and IMPress for IDX Broker plugin activated together, This have caused a crash on the frontend for logged in users.

The fix made PBS functional again, but we have to remove IDX Broker widget the capability to be inserted inside the editor. Despite that, IDX Broker widget can still be used in your Appearance > Widgets menu.

  • PHP 7

    PHP 7

We have tested Page Builder Sandwich with PHP 7 and everything should work fine without any problems.

Be careful when upgrading your site from a lower version to PHP 7, as there are a lot of incompatibilities with lower versions that should be addressed in all your themes and plugins.

  • Jetpack

    Jetpack

Page Builder Sandwich should be compatible with the different modules of Jetpack.

    Jetpack’s Markdown Module

The Markdown Module does something special when saving content which results in changes getting lost during the markdown conversion. To handle this, markdown text in the backend editor turn into html tags when saving your changes from the frontend. (Thanks to Jake Jackson for helping out)

  • Themes That Use Materialize

    Themes That Use Materialize

There is a Javascript error that occurs when both Page Builder Sandwich & Materialize are together. There is a conflict between materialize.js and WordPress Core’s color picker.

There’s an issue placed in Materialize’s GitHub repo about this: https://github.com/Dogfalo/materialize/issues/2821

  • NextGen

    NextGen

There was a previous problem regarding NextGen and Page Builder Sandwich.

Prior to version 2.12, PBS somehow triggered NextGen to show an error message that made your site get a blank white screen. This has been fixed as of version 2.12, so if you’re using an older version, please update.
